is the a difference between in the triggers on these two guns?

Go to the Remington website and browse the parts breakdowns for both guns and you will see they are the same unless one is a different finish than the other. Their FAQ section deals with this in many specific areas so you might want to read through it to see what other tidbits are there you may use. They spell it out quite clearly. They do state that both guns are identical parts except the Express is not blued and an Express barrel on a Wingmaster would may look wrong but will fit. Bought an Express after going all through the site.

Correct.
The Express is plastic, except the very early ones. I have an Express that has an alloy trigger guard.
All other parts are the same, with the exception of the detent and spring for the J-lock safety.
