Any of you Manitoba ipsc guys had any dealings with a shop called xtreme gun shooting center? I’m usually not one to shop beyond our trusted cgn shops or those that sponsor our shooting sports but they have an item I’m having trouble tracking down elsewhere at the moment.

They're more of a range that sells other than a full on shop. They're about 2 minutes away from me but I've never gone. Other than cabelas theres heights archery that sells some firearms, a couple canadian tire have a bit left over but are getting out of the game, and thats it in the city. Look up reviews on xtreme. Apparently the owners a bit special but if hes not in apparently its okay.

Yea I did business there a couple times and now keep my distance. Owner is a ###### Plane and simple.

There is almost no level of desperation for a product that is worth dealing with Xtreme. Fast Toys can get you squared away for gear or reloading, what are you trying to find?

Thanks for the replies I've spent a great deal of money at fast toys over the years and don't have any plans to stop.it's a 1911 frame I'm after.

Well you are pretty limited for options, I would likely try Dlask and then if that was a no go choke it down and deal with Xtreme, with zero expectations of any customer service if there is an issue.

I would recommend not, was treated very poorly by the owner , was ready to spend money but walked out and ended up ordering on line with someone else later that day.

Xtreme definitely has 1911 frames and parts. I believe they are sourced from either SAM or Armscor in the Phillipines.

I've heard things about the owner at Xtreme. But I've never had any problems. You just need to get used to his personality, I guess. I used to be a range member there, and have nothing bad to say.

The one and only time I went in there years back I was looking for an AR gas tube for my carbine and I had to explain what a gas tube was to the sales guy and then "no, I can't just cut the rifle tube shorter to fit"
