- Tweaks that work, tweaks that don't work, expensive tweaks so yer #### does not fall off
- Useless tweaks unless you have more money than shooting ability (many stories to follow at the clinic)
- Common pitfalls, expensive tweaks that work, more ways to ensure that yer #### don't fall off

PrairieMedic has said we can use the range for test firing if needed as well. Anyone know how to TIG weld and can bring a welder? I have a vice I can bring but its a bit small, if anyone can bring a larger one let me know and I'll leave the baby one at home. I'm pretty excited, if this goes well then we'll try and do a VZ58 clinic in the fall.

This is why I'm spoiled by Sosa and the Edmonton clinic (not to mention the Skullboy hosted Abbotsford clinic)..... We were able to provide huge vise environment and as a result we rebarreled a shztload of rifles at each clinic. :D When you have clinic facilities/tools like that, I can make learning into magical moments (without any drugs, either :D )

Any of you guys who are coming capable TIG welders? We should have a TIG and a decient vice at the clinic we just need a welder.

We will have to wait and see on the welder. It is going to depend on whether our welders are on a job site or not come April. If it is in use I will not be able to bring it so that is still up in the air.

As far as parkerizing Hungry can show you how to do that but it takes a fairly well ventilated shop and a ready supply of water from what I remember.

Is there something to bolt the vise down to? I can try and get one from a friends workbench. What size are we thinking of?

As far as I know there is a stove in the clubhouse. PrairieMedic will be able to tell us for sure.

If there isn't 220 with a plug (and the stove might not be on a plug), then we need an inverter welder that can run off 110. I could tig mine here at home, but to be honest I didn't want to do it without parkerizing. As for hauling tig equipment to the Selkirk range, its a heck of a heavy piece of equipment if your talking about an old transformer based machine. A syncrowave weighs around 400 lbs!

We apparently have a relatively portable one. If I do bring it I can do any power hook ups for it so I am not worried about that.

We may have a welder coming out to do the work as well. We can also park people's rifle's etc but is would have to go in one of our batches so there would be a cost involved, it would be a professional job though.
