I just visited the Royal Winnipeg Rifle Museum. I highly recommend it. Besides the Winnipeg Rifles history, it has one of the best collections of military small arms in Canada.

There are some photos on here:

located inside minto arm/oury. me , grouseman and a few other cgn members went one year. the curator is a member her.worth the tour.

It is always fun to go to a museum, see some milsurps behind a glass panel and say to yourself: "I own that one...and that one...and that one..." and you feel quite pleased that you have such history in your own possession.

The best is when you can pick out markings, evidence...etc on the milsurps that isn't posted on the description of that particular milsurp.

Then you realize the milsurps on the walls are probably dewatts and you shed a tear for them.

Grouse man took the picture, i just saved them

Curator is also a collector and has a good knowledge of what`s there.
Grouse Man took better pictures than I did.

You didn't happen to see a McAdam shovel, did you? I seem to recall that a museum had one, and I thought it was Winnipeg.

I don`t remember seeing one there. Doesn`t mean it`s not there though. You could also try the Fort Gary Horse Museum it`s not far from the Winnipeg Rifles.
