My father (RCAF) had occasion to be part of a aircrew flying him somewhere.

A shadow box with the Karsh portrait... the stogie... an awesome tidbit of history,#right there!

That cigar is a piece of history and in that condition, it wont smoke worth a sh*t.

Even a preserved cigar loses its taste over the years.

What a great conversation starter for your fathers memory.

It is for future generations to enjoy and learn from.

I also have a Thompson 1928 (with drum mag), similar to the one in the picture. Too bad I can't make a BIG shadow box to hold the picture, gun and cigar...
