You're either in or you're out, regardless of conditions.
Saying you want to shoot a winter match that someone else organizes, but only if it's not too cold, doesn't exactly imply dedication.
-30 as a threshold is pretty decent dedication to me

The -23 wasn't so bad if you dressed for it. Lonedrone wore jogging pants and running shoes.
Ok then, count me in regardless of weather conditions ! But I draw the line at having to take time off work to do a winter 3gun. And by your definition of dedicated, it looks like the vast majority of 3gun enthusiasts aren't dedicated then. You're either in or you're out, regardless of conditions.

Hey, all I wanted to know was if there was any interest in winter 3gun. Now, thanks to you, the thread has degraded to a petty argument about dedication. Not worth the trouble. I'm out.Myself and most of my volunteers take Friday off work to help set up our matches, they're just awesome that way.
3gun enthusiasts aren't dedicated??? Seriously? Our matches sell out year-round and the -23 deg C match that was mentioned above, guess how many cancellations/no-shows?
None.
