Winter shooting shelter, what you use to keep warm???

Wow !! Thats a very nice setup !!! One day I'll have something similar... One day

I shoot -35 to +35 also, and dress up accordingly. The 2 gun clubs I belong are outdoor ones and shooting in the wild, cant carry that much stuff.

If we are lucky we shooy off the truck's bed and keep it running to warm up in the cab.

Dress properly, let the gear get cold before hitting the snow and have fun. Been doing it that way for 40 years. now a days, post shooting burgers and beers to warm up.
-35 in southern Ontario?? Must be a special thermometer.:D

I make sure all my gear cools off in the back of the pick up while I set up. I use a bench in the winter outdoors with a fire behind me. This warms me up between shots, I usually always have a few buddies along too so its more of a social call then serious shooting.

Most of my winter shooting is target at the farm. A couple of folding camp chairs and a fence rail 30' from the house, if the horses are in the back fields. A blanket or two on the ground for the rifles and supplies. Keeping the rifles and ammo cold has always worked for us even when the snow starts falling. We just use another blanket to cover the stuff if the weather turns. If we get too cold we take a break in the house and jut lock the rifles and ammo in the trunk of the car. Only hard part is finding all the spent cases when we're done. Would love a setup like some have shown but as it's not my property I take what I can get.

a dedicated indoor/outdoor shooting space...great idea lol

I only have 100yds to the target on my warm range though...That big wide open out front is great.

Might have to build a shed out back :)
