So all you gopher getters.....are y'all getting as sick of winter as I am?
That friggen ground hawg thats supposed to predict an early spring oughta be the first vermin to bite the bullet so to speak.

Almost every night I open my gun cabinet and stare at the implements and tools that cause the "red mist" that ultimately fertilize the fields.

-Remmy 700 SPS "Varmint" in .223 topped with a Bushnel Elite 3200 4-12x40
-Ruger M77 Mk II "Target" in .204 topped with a Bushnel Elite 3200 5-15x40
And the usual assortment of .22s

Freakin sick of it. It's been right around -30 every morning for the last week and a half here, and snow up to your crotch. My local range is totally snowed in; I can't even test the half dozen or so new loads I have ready for trials. Sucks!

Well I couldn't wait any longer to try out my new Cooper so I went to the range on Friday.
Joined both Gen. and Spruce Grove, nice to be a member of the one closer for quick trips on cooler days when you don't plan on spending all day there. Should be a nice day tomorrow some I'm going out again, FS

I am using the quiet time to reload. I now have enough .223 ammo loaded and stockpiled to back the occupation of a small island nation. Hope it's enough.

Hakx

U R suposed to shoot'em-- not at'em:D

Well a buddy of mine has a little Mossy 500 with a breacher grip, and 14" barrell and took a poke at a squeak....he reached for his #4 shells and sadly there was a 3" magnum slug somehome mixed in with it....so the shooting ended alot earlier than we had wanted so he could go to town and get some stitches in his lip :D

Always be sure of the ammo you are feeding into your firearms kids!!! :sniper:

Mother Nature gave us a little tease Friday with warm weather and rain. Melted most of the snow and then Saturday comes around and it's f*ckin cold again and now the fields are skating rinks and I just can't wait for this winter to be over so that I can go and BLAST some groundhogs. Just today I look out into the hayfield and thought I had spotted a Marmot but it was just a crow.....I was all excited there for a minute. My wife says it's hopeless..... I'm gonna start seeing the little furry buggers everywhere.
There must be some group therapy for us varmint hunters..

Hello my name is Michel...and I'm a varmint Hunter :D

I don't mind the winter....all you need is an ice-auger.

Walleye are biting good right now and so are BIG Pike.

Have another month or so of good fishing then it will be time to haul wood.

Plenty of stuff to do...even though I cannot make it to the range.

Hey Rick,,,dont ##### to much. Talked today to a guy in edmonton and he said it was snowing like a ##### there at 10 am,by 10;30 it was snowing like a ##### here also...By the time I got home tonight we got 12 inches of the white crap. It usually takes me about 10 minutes to do my sidewalks, tonight it took 45.

The snow on either side is now piled up just about 3 feet deep but it looks kinda cool but my friggen back is killing me....
