wipe out foam bore cleaner for hunting rifles?

I use Butches Bore Shine for powder fouling, and KG-12 for copper fouling. I like to clean my firearms then put them away, rather than leave them soaking with cleaning solution over night.

in my experience butches bore shine removed stuff wipe out leaves behind.
but it does work pretty well. didn't notice much improvement using the accelerater though

I think it works great, one of the best ways to clean a rifle.

You only need to leave it in there for about 30 minutes with the rifle muzzle pointing down in a plastic bucket or cup as it then runs out and or evaporates. At least that's what happens with my rifles when treated with it.

I use the liquid version and run patches through as the expanding foam can be a bit of a pain sometimes.
I'll do it at the range before I leave and just stuff some paper towel in either end of the barrel so there's no mess and clean it out later that night.
Great stuff

Typically I let WipeOut sit in the barrel overnight and patch it out in the morning. If this is done every 50-100 rounds, there is no need for more thorough cleaning, and no real need to to run an oily patch through the bore after cleaning, although I do, followed by a couple of dry patches.

With Wipe Out, cut an "X" in the center of a cleaning patch, fit it over top of the tip of a bore guide (Tipton) to create a seal at the chamber.
This prevents excess running into the action or all over the place. An excellent product. Have also used it on 22 long rifles after using copper wash bullets like MiniMags and got some blue.
Lilja recommends Butch's Bore Shine.

I use it in my precision rifles, recently running a patch soaked in their Accelerator product to speed up the process. I let it soak for an hour then run a couple clean patches through followed by one soaked in Eezox, wait 5 then a clean patch and call it a day. The Eezox CLP seems to be better at getting some of the carbon fouling out.

I just leave WipeOut in the bore overnight with the rifle laying horizontally, very slightly muzzle down. Rag at the muzzle to catch the drips. Patch out in the morning.
