I have used it for years now, and it's great. I just let the bore soak while I resize my brass from the day's shoot and clean the bolt. Then patch it out, and a light oil. Easy peasy.

Great stuff ! Like many others, I have a closet full of copper solvents. Wipeout is now my one & only.

Typically I let WipeOut sit in the barrel overnight and patch it out in the morning. If this is done every 50-100 rounds, there is no need for more thorough cleaning, and no real need to to run an oily patch through the bore after cleaning, although I do, followed by a couple of dry patches.

I use the same method & have zero issues.

Folks gotta be careful not to get Wipe Out on oil finished stocks as the stuff will eat into the finish quickly.
