Trudeau rounds? I once worked a veteran of Cyprus and Bosnia. He told me a lot of entertaining and sometimes disturbing stories. One of the most memorable was about the Trudeau rounds...whereby during an exercise they didn't have any blanks so they had to yell "Bang" each time they fired! He swears it's true!

Absolutely, a Trudeau round is precisely that - you yell bang, and the other guy pretends to die, just like when we were kids. Makes Airsoft look like advanced training. There were different versions of bang for different weapons. It's kind of bizarre, because you'd have all these guys out in the bush, armed to the teeth, real vehicles, real guns, real gear, real weather - sometimes brutal weather, blizzards, 20 below, wind howling on the side of a mountain - yelling bang, bang, bang.

I used one for years as an Army Cadet. Missed out buying one when I had the chance. It's a shame they are prohibited.

Actually thinking about it the C1 FN FAL was the only FAL that had the feature to be able to load the firearm with stripper clips from the top. I was wondering if anyone actually had a video of this (or could make a video of this) as I have searched but haven't found any footage of this feature.
