So I had the chance to see one of the most funny things the other day.

I was driving out of my hunting area and saw two young bull elk chillin - we stopped to glass them and see what they were up to; they were young so not too scared of us.

Well the eventually spooked and took off. One made it over the fence while the other made a short hop and wasn't so lucky. Ended tripping himself off the top strand of barbed wire and kissed the dirt. flipping his feet up and head right down into the dirt.

He rolled around for a moment trying to get back up. I swear they are some of the clumsiest pieces of creation I've ever seen. Kind of reminded me of a basset hound running and tripping over its ears.

Words can't describe just how funny it was to watch.

However, can you also imagine the anger in the eyes of my host who was now thinking about the fence he had to repair??

Deer hunting 2 years ago. We had walked through a few bushes in the middle of the day. Went driving out of the area on a dirt road. Suddenly there a 2 cow moose comming out of a frozen swamp, and crossing in front of us. They approached the fence on an angle and both jumped at virtually the same time. One made it over perfectly. The other slipped durring the launch, head up, ass forward, untill all 4 were straight in the air, came down right on her back on the opposite side of the fence. She got up and trotted away without the slightest limp. All 4 of us saw it. Nobody laughed. In fact I think we all felt her pain. It had to hurt.

haha, my daughter and I were heading to the farm a couple winter ago and stopped to let a doe cross the road. She slipped on the ice and fell on her butt, jumped up almost embarrassed like, then ran off. My daughter cringed and said that looked like it hurt. I couldn't laugh after her comment.
