Hello,

I am wondering about slings for a WK-180c magpul edition. I would like to attach a single point sling mount similar to the AR-15 sling plate attached to the buffer tube. If anyone out there has any recommendations for slings/ sling setup I would love to see them. Thanks

I would highly recommend looking at a 2 point sling. There are almost no serious professionals recommending single point slings anymore and it is for a reason.

You can get a QD point that fits into an MLOK slot on your handguard

Ferro Concepts Slingster, Blue Force Gear Vickers Sling, VTAC Sling are all great options.

There is also the Magpul MS4 which is a 2 point, that can be converted on the fly to a 1 point if you're into that sort of thing.

+1. And another vote for the Blue Force Gear Vickers. That is the only sling I use on my guns.

For some odd reason the RCMP uses a single point. At least that is what a member told me when I handed him my PCC to shoot with a Blue Force Gear Vickers on it.

Another vote for the Vickers, I use them on all my run/gun style rifles.

Get a Magpul ASAP plate (or equivalent) for the buffer tube. This will give you a QD socket right behind/above pistol grip.

Get a two point sling with QD Push swivels, you can get a Blue Force Gear Burnsed Socket that you can thread onto the sling that allows you to insert the front swivel into it, converting the 2 point to 1 point sling whenever you want.

The single-point sling is only good for one specific role.
That role being security guard type work. Where you stand in one place and guard a door.

Anything other than that; A two-point sling is a better option.

As everyone has said, get a two point sling.

I highly recommend the Gear Dynamics slings. Quick adjust like the Vickers, but a super lightweight, slick design. Also, Canadian made, veteran owned company.

Thanks for the info ref that company. I'll give them a go next purchase to support local.

I got a new rifle and took my old vickers sling off another gun... then decided screw it and just picked up a second in tropical multicam! SD tactical had padded andbnon padded as of a couple days ago. Not with the qd mounts though so you'll have to get those separately.
