I've never owned an ar type gun before, today I got too the city and picked up some warne high scope rings for y wk 180 ,and mounted an old bushnell ar 3x9 drop zone.my scope height is just over an inch to center, i just cant get it positioned with my noggin.does this type of firearm require a cantilever mount to raise it.are does any one have two piece mounts on theres, and make it work.would like to show a picture but I'm stone age.any help appreciated.

It might have to do with a strait stock.never owned a firearm with a strait stock like this.

A KP Rifle Co. Low Stock Adapter could help your situation if you don't want higher rings.

You're using the two piece rings are they the high rings.that looks like the clearance i have.do you have the low stock adapter on that firearm.thanks

Okay I see it is lower, just compared it to mine.i might consider that just for the comfort of a usual shooting position regardless of scope the factory stock doesn't feel right to me.

There is a Canadian-made adapter for the WK sold in concert with the Magpul Zhukov folding adjustable length of pull stock. This stock is compatible with Magpul cheek risers. Maybe with risers the scope and gun will feel right with that stock for the originating poster?
