TL;DR - 2~4 moa, no surprise. The platform seems to have the potential to go down to 1~1.5 moa when properly setup for precision shooting.

Today I began working up a load for my wk180c. And I thought I would share the initial result here.

These are changed/added to my wk180c since delivery:
- bushnell 1-4x24 ffp scope installed with utg high rings
- random set of buis (not relevant for this test)
- triggertech combat trigger 5.5lb
- precision armament m4-72 muzzle brake
- magpul ctr stock for commercial tube (yes, wrong size)

For ammo I used remington brass, H335, and campro 55gr fmjbt projectile.

Groups:
I have to shoot groups at 50 yard because I can't aim precisely enough with the thick reticle from the 1-4 optic.
*Disclaimer*: load data shown in picture are for discussion only. Most likely they are meaningless for your gun and might hurt yourself. Don't copy them or don't hold me responsible if you do.

I also shot a group using 60 gr v-max projectile (load for my bolt gun).

My thoughts:

I called this a "practical" accuracy test, because I believe it represents what an average wk180c owner using average ammo for plinking will see.

Neither the parts I put on nor the projectiles are top shelf stuff. The triggertech trigger is good for intended use but heavy for precision work. A slim grip and loose stock definitely didn't help.

Further more, I rushed all shots as I only had an hour of daylight. I did not wait for the barrel to cool to a consistent level between shots.

On ammo, campro stuff never shot very well from my bolt gun (1.5~2moa), neither does H335. I use vmax with varget now and consistently produce sub-moa group from the same bolt gun (mossberg mvp). I feel like varget/vmax combination will produce even better groups than today's in the wk180c.

So you rushed the shots, never waited for the barrel to cool and only shot at 50 yards with a reticle that’s too thick. I’d call it the impractical accuracy test.

Well, it has a cheap barrel so I expect groups to open up as it warms up but I like to test my semi's without letting the barrel cool. I do load development and testing shooting slow but it always gets tested from cold to hot as well once I find a load that it seems to like.
We don't buy these to be bench rest guns so slow shooting is not really representative of real world (practical) accuracy anyway. I would like to see some slow shooting with a decent optic but this is more of a real world test even though the results mean almost nothing.

Important to know would be relation between cold bore and hot barrel point of impact shift. I want to know where the projectile is going if I have it zero'd when it's warm and I've been playing all afternoon then take it out the next day and need a cold bore shot on a coyote in the morning.

Not sure why people really worry about accuracy on a rifle like this much anyway, it's an entry level rifle meant to give more people access to a black rifle than could previously afford to. If they were to put a quality barrel in it these would be $300-$400 more money and no longer profitable at the $1000 price target they had building it.

I'm looking forward to some reports of how they do for accuracy once the cheap factory barrel is swapped out for something high end. I've got a $500 custom made 300BLK barrel sitting at home I'd like to try in one of these :).

From what I see of the test above this thing already blows the Mini 14 out of the water with respect to accuracy.
Should kill sales of that POS accordingly.

Good, I couldn't sell my old Mini 14 fast enough. If they were $500 they might be ok and I guess I can say I'd rather have a Mini 14 than an SU-16 :p

what cr5 said was exactly what I had in mind. I want to see how the rifle does when average joe goes on a Saturday afternoon plinking with cheap ammo. And I got exactly that answer.

Once I use decent projectiles (vmax) I can tell this rifle has potential to be accurate under ideal condition.

Also I can tell wk180c shoots way better than my xcr-l (or your mini14).

I'll try to get some 100 yard groups with a more suitable optic once I find time.
