Basically she will only share the WK180-C bolt carrier design from the WK180-C, the upper and lower are completely new, their attachment together will be unique to this model and not compatible with any pre-existing design from any other manufacture. Barrel and bolt will be of the AR10 type and standard AR15 fire control group will be used although a new safety and bolt release are on the drawing board.

why not a hybrid like the POF Revolution to keep it at an AR 15 size and weight but still 308 caliber?

A NR, light, semi auto, 308 will sell better than any other currently offered on the Canadian market. There is a large untapped market in the hunting crowd. I know this all too well after building my ACR in rem30ar and the interest generated within it.
 
Since you are thinking of putting emphasis on the utility of the rifle, for fun on the back 40, plinking and varmint hunting, why not something like:

WK- Rancher ( implies general use)
WK - Hammer ( useful tool)
WK - Bronco ( word play on a work horse)

Personally I like a name that rolls off the tongue rather than an awkward acronym or a list of numbers. Just my 2c

That was the first thought in my head too. Probably not what Wolverine wants brougt to mind when people think of their rifle lol.
