Man I have been thinking about this a lot, and it would be really neat if you guys did a run of 6x45 cal rifles (223 necked up to 243). That way I could hunt with it and still use affordable reloading components to keep costs down. Depending on how crazy I feel I might even make it a project with my rifle...

Voted AR mags.... 10 rnds and a last round hold open makes way more sense if u ask me. Plus I think AK mags look ugly in Western styled firearms.

I've had nothing but trouble with my AR 7.62x39 magazines. They can't feed reliably if their life depended on it. I'd like the option for AK mags as those are actually designed for the caliber and would probably ensure better loading reliablity. 10 round capacity be damned.

I'd still rather see a 300 BO version first. already plenty of x39 plinkers out there.. and the way ammo supplies have been going, it isn't the cheap plinking it used to be

save the mag frustrations and go for the easy 30 cal win!

Sooo......change the barrel? Literally all you have to do to the WK180 is change the barrel....

Not to sure I understand the STANAG issue people are chiming in with. Might be a problem with 30-40 round magazines and the required curvature to maintain correct alignment with 7.62X39.
However, at 10 rounds , the XCR magazines are the same length as the "Straight" portion of the curved magazines. Have never had an issue using them (all 10 rounds) with my B&T conversion of my CZ 858.
Work like a charm.

I agree and I'm happy that Wolverine is going the direction they are. Bring both uppers to the Bush/Range.
