Uh seems like a lot of problems - anyone going to correct me?
Uh seems like a lot of problems - anyone going to correct me?
Here we go again... One guy has an issue and suddenly "all of the rifles have problems"
My LAR 10 round mags didn’t work well. Troy and Hera mags worked well.
Has anyone had success with other 10 round mags?
Took the gun to the range today. Fired 20-25 rounds... experienced 4 FTE’s where the fired round stayed in the chamber and new round was stripped off the mag, and picked up. Occurred with one of the supplied mags and one of my Norinco mags (only took two mags).
Any suggestions for me to look at here?
Extracted easily. Looks like maybe weak extractor and hot ammo or overgassing. Like I said in previous, extractor spring was shorter than 1 used and 1 new AR ones I had. Swapped on over will try it tomorrow.
Removes the extractor spring and compared with a used brownells spring I had kicking around. The WK spring was noticeably shorter. .139 in vs .179. Will give it a shot tomorrow and report back.

The "donut" and rubber plug were in place?
No donut. Only plug.
Aye, I also think it looks pretty good. Custom manufactured stock? Make 'em available for Canadian customers down the line?
RRA refers to Rock River Arms, the company that made the LAR15 - Check the bottom of the mag for the brand.
