WK180-C Folding Stock - Prototype

I see a lot of comments about the stock being ugly...
It's on a square block of a gun guys. This isn't a racecar ar15, it's a utility gun that is affordable. This stock looks like it does what we need. If it locks up good and can't shear off that easily, it's good to go in my books.

The result of changing a vision halfway through the process.
What sold your rifle was a bare-bones utilitarian rifle with relatively clean lines without bells or whistles.
The stock is the exact opposite of this philosophy.
Multiple adjustments for something that is going to be set once and then left alone isn't worth the price of admission to me.
It looks visually busy and I wonder how it will effect the balance of the rifle.

I currently have just installed a fixed Magpul MOE stock that is a little short for me.
If you were to provide a folder mechanism that allowed me attach a standard military buffer tube I could swap out standard stocks (for length of pull) while adding a Magpul cheek riser (If I needed it).
This would give me the folding utilitarian rifle.

Understand what you were going for - this design doesn't do it for me.

L

P.S. If your going to spend money on an upgraded stock I think most people would appreciate a better trigger.

Actually the type 89 stock looks pretty good.

Did a quick sketch:

This exactly. A simple folding buffer tube adapter would give access to the most prolific stock system out there. Infinite customization.

I applaud the fact that you guys are developing this, however im more partial to a Galil style tubular type folding stock, very simple with clean lines and pure utility.

I would like this too. Im not a fan of the current design. Some galils have a very simple plastic cheek riser on the upper tube of the stock. Could be a nice addition.

Not cold war enough. I have an image in my mind of an HK style skele stock like you guys cary for the vz.58 that includes the pistol grip and folds kind of like an AWM. Just ham it up with the iron curtain era aesthetic.
