Wk180-c or JR Carbine 9mm?

Wk for sure! I really like my faux suppressor and I am now expecting a cover for it. For sure it’s gonna catch some eyes. I also add some fde colours on accessories. I would never get 9mm because personally I think its for a pistol.

If you can get over the horrendous look of the 2x4 called the jard j68 you could look into it if you were inclined full ambi controls bottom ejecting and takes glock mags. Personally I wouldn’t pay $1400 they ask for it but bullseyes is liquidating their stock I think so you can get it for about 1k with free ship right now which isn’t bad for what it offers especially since it the gen 2 without that screw takedown.

I have a wk180-c and and ASR in 9mm and you cant really compare the two. 9mm is fun to plink around since it will accept 10 round mags, recoil is manageable and accuracy is good.

However with the wk theres a chance you could put on a scope and get some distance? The ranges near me are all 100m so it doesnt matter all that much but the 9mm is a lot more home and fun at 50m.

Have you considered the ASR? Looks AR like and also has multiple calibers availible and can be "quickly" swapped between calibers.

If i had a choice of getting only one of them i guess i would go with the wk for its versatily as opposed to the fun of the ASR.

I would definitely consider getting a range membership again if I go WK so I can shoot out to 300m. .223/5.56 isn't cheap though, no more xcr mag dumping 18cent x39 rounds for me...

Interesting that yours works. ASRs generally have a really bad rep for being unreliable... even the gen 2s.

I own a 9mm one and wouldnt reccomend one to a friend. It has never been able to get through 4 mags without a failure to eject. TNW has abandoned me with it to and wont offer any warranty work since its "too old now"....

I've had a couple failures to eject on the last round and found that it is very mag dependent.. my 25rd Glock that's pinned to 10rds almost never jams but the 10 round one usually jams on the 4th round. I also think it depends on whether or not you put pressure on the magazine as for one of the ASRs my friend had unless you hold the mag a little it would have a FTE but mine prefers to have no pressure on it.

It can be found cheaper than most other ones I've seen posted here, and the portability of it makes it fun/versatile as opposed to having to carry the big rifle case, etc just for plinking around..

I wonder if there the ASRs are more prone to FTEs in certain calibers? Since they are sold in 9mm/40s&w or the 10mm/45acp combo..

I actually love my 9mm ASR in all other aspects. But its poor reliability has proven to be a real killer. My ASRs failure lead me to purchase a later gen JRC in 9mm (before the FX9 came to Canada's market). And of the 1000+ rounds the JRC has fired, its maybe had 10 FTE... and thats with me only cleaning it once a year lol. After finishing my Review of the ASR for utube, im going to sell it at a significant loss :/
