And if it’s not??? I have a bunch of lar 15 pistol mags, all steel that I’m hoping will work in mine. I will be disappointed if they don’t work as they work great in my AR.
I expect it to work as it’s supposed to or there is a problem, if it only shoots 2” groups so be it, but it better not be a jamomatic, or fte or ftf.
The LAR-15 didn’t not work great when fully loaded. I never noticed until the last range session because I would only load 3 rounds at a time when testing new handloads.
How many times did you fully load it to 10 round capacity and do a mag dump.......
I buy rifles around what mags work in them.....in wolverines video.....the 10 round RRA LAR mags worked flawless.......and the beowolfs better work too or I will be hugly disappointed
This shouldnt even be an issue with the testing they have done
This shouldn't even be a coversation at the moment......we are only talking about the most important thing about the rifle
That all mags that work in an AR should work in this
I loaded the up twice and usually the first 2-3 rounds of each mag would jam. I switched over to PMAGs and didn’t have a problem.
The reason why the LAR-15 were jamming was because they don't tilt the ammo up when they are fully loaded. With the magazine sitting lower in the receiver compared to other AR-15s, makes the round hit the barrel extension. I showed pictures of this in post #85.
Here is a jam from a fully loaded mag of American Eagle, the tip of the bullet catches the edge of the barrel extension.
Good news, I solved this problem well over 10 years ago with the original AR180B. Check the FAQ.
We shouldn't have to add material to our magazines for the rifles to function properly. If the mag sat higher in the receiver, it wouldn't be a problem.
Ya no $hit.....adding "material to mags" gimme a break......in wolverines video the LAR mags were flawless.
Could it just be your rifle?
Also did happen to try the 10 round mission first tactical mags?
Hi Guys this is Steve from Kodiak Defence I assure you that if there are issues with your rifle when you get it. They will be fixed. We are in this business to give you the best quality product that we can. We will warrantee everything 100%.
Firstly let me be clear that we not have the time or resources to monitor all the threads on CGN. Before we delivered or had collected any WK180-C rifles I open a thread on the Wolverine page for customer feed back, we will monitor that thread and reply there.
Let me assure all our customers that we stand behind the WK180-C rifles and do not expect customers to resolve their own problems, be they real or perceived.
Warrant claims are going to be handled directly by Kodiak Defence. Before morning they will have a e-mail address dedicated for this, it will be: Service@kodiakdefence.com ( let me double check the spelling)
For the record, I personally fired 10 rds through the first 24 rifles using the Hera mags as supplied with our rifles. I had 4 rifles produce one failure to feed, I cleared it and fired an extra 5 rds with no problem. I do not see this as ad normal in a new rifle, please alow 500 to 1,000 rds to "run in" a new rifle.
One customer has claimed his rifle is "over gassing", I have seen no evidence of this in our test rifle "The Dog" as we now call her, she has fired approx 7,000 rds and I have abused her. I will post photos tomorrow of the bolt and back plate and they just show normal wear.
In these first production rifles we may have some bugs to work out but please talk to Kodiak before doing any home gun smithing that will void your warranty.
Again let me stress that customers of the WK180-C have our full support.
You're welcome!thanks for the reviews
