Just voted for the WK180-C because that is the only one of the choices that I've ordered.

I would like a BCL102 but not in factory configuration and I missed out on the stripped receiver preorder because I was in the Philippines when it was on. Bad timing, oh well.

The Kel-Tec RDB has always interested me and is priced right but I have a Tavor so the Kel-Tec isn't a priority on my list. Maybe one day though.

The WK180-C is what I went with for a variety of reasons.
-first, Canadian made :canadaFlag:
-second, price
-third, I've always wanted a 180-b type rifle.
-fourth, there is some parts compatibility with commonly available ar15 parts. buttstocks, handguards, barrels, triggers etc...
-fifth, for all it costs I'm not going to be afraid to beat the living s#!t out of it:ar15:

Everyone who voted WK180 probably paid no attention to WR762 discussions recently. While Kel-Tec is hit and miss depending on the model, they at least have successful designs and implementations, like Sub2k and RFB and now RDB is not new and feedback is good. What are the Kodiak's successful products again?
WK180 probably will scratch the AR itch for Canadians in the same way as Type 81 scratches AK itch. Thank god I don't have either, I have an ar15 and had my share with AK enough for not be crazy about it.

I did not read any of those treads on the wr762, I was actually wondering how were those guns douing? Being a new manufacturer and all. I was also surprise everyone jump on board of the wk180 so fast with no real world testing or final product to speak of. This is not a diss at kodiac or wolverine, I am just wondering how good a gun it is going to be? Wen you think of big manufacturer that are proven and douing great jobs, then rolling out a new product and having so much teething issue.... I don't know its just so early... lets just hope ot is a fantastic gun, I truly hope so!

Some designs are so simple.... they just have to work lol why would there be much speculation on its durability and reliability? its built mostly off an already existing design, theres a video of it running 100+ rnds consecutively without a hitch, And unlike the original 180b, this ones 100% metal. If the FRT works out im sure it will fly off the shelves.

I think that is what we all hope for!

voted , Got a Bcl 102 gen 2 ,no problems so far .
Looking at picking up a WK180 down the road after the first production bugs are worked out and the NR is confirmed
RDB , just doesnt appeal to me , might change if I get to see one in person

If I were to only pick one, it would be RDB
Personally, I like bullpups, its going to be the shortest while maintaining barrel length, and it has a bolt release over the 180C. I hate running the charging handle when reloading, just so used to using a bolt release with my thumb on all my rifles. If that's not a problem for you, then 180C

Obviously #WK180-C by the wolverine team.

The only company that chose not to rape the Canadian gun owners with N.R tax.

Cheers,

Ordered a wk180, been wanting a light ar style NR rifle that wasn't 3k. Wont be afraid to use the bush or throw in the back of the truck. Love my mini14 but the mags are expensive and prefer left hand changing handle.
I also won't but a plastic gun unless it made by nerf.

You gotta get all three if you have the money. Why? It's simple:

You get a lovely AR-18 pattern rifle in 5.56 or perhaps 7.62x39 if that tickles your fancy, since Wolverine's offering it in the future.
And then a neat bullpup in the same caliber
And finally, you have a nice AR-10 style in any caliber you want. I'd go for 6.5 Creedmoor.

I'm gonna be building an SLR first but then my sights will probably be set on an RDB. I already have a .308 Troy PAR which works great and suits my needs for a .308 scary looking black hunting rifle so a BCL102 would be redundant for my purposes. I think the WK180C is probably going to be the best thing in a long time that has happened to the Canadian black rifle market, but I really don't feel the need to rush out and buy one.

Wolverine is the exclusive distributor. Might be good to start recognising the manufacturer. Kodiak Defense, model WK180-C.

For sure The BCL and WK180. Already have the BCL, and ordered the WK180. I have a sub2000 but without the support of MCarbo I don't think they would be as popular as they are. I already have a Robinson Arms XCR-L in 223Wylde. And with the WK180 I think that will be enough for a while. I will wait and see how the RDB ends up running before considering it.

Don't worry. I am sure there will be some extra stripped receivers available for those who wanted one but were not able. I may have ordered 2 or 3 extra ;)

I wanted to say the 180 but as of today it is a prototype which doesn’t even have a production build list yet...the fact that they sold out what appears to be a considerable amount of production capacity so quickly is also concerning for a variety of reasons...
So it’s out.
The Kel-Tec is just that, a Kel-Tec...
Which leaves the 102.
When supply exceeds demand I’m sure one will follow me home at that time.
And in a year or two if the 180 is all as expected then one of those too.
