WK180 C trigger upgrade

Just installed my G2s and its a solid upgrade, absolutely well worth the $200. Going from 10lbs to 4 lb 2 stage....sweet!!! Only issue I had was getting the top pin in with the retainer spring, really tough for me to line up and push through easy. after about 15 mins of fiddling I got it in. My thumb is nice and red from pushing lol. Highly recommend the G2S.

Got my trogger tech installed. Relatively straight forward with one hitch. The bolt catch lever needed to filed slightly to make room. The tension screws built into the trigger put enough tension on the pins that they dont walk.
Excellent 3.5 lb trigger. Crisp as hell.

I quite enjoyed the trigger tech on my Model 700, great trigger.

I also installed a G2S, it feels great, and was quite simple to install, just make sure to use the pins that come on the WK.

I’ve done the «#set screw in the pistol grip screw hole#» trick after polishing down to 8000 grit stone, using the orignal trigger. It’s a great success.

Did the paracord trick and shot it some more, it's not longer horrible, it's almost acceptable.
Out of the box, worst trigger I felt so far in my short experience. I think it's the rough manufacturing more then the springs, but maybe I'm wrong.

I dry fired mine about 2,000 times with the cord in front og the tv. While it did get much smoother, it still had a brutally long and sloppy pull. Thats all a distant memory now and my trigger tech didnt come with a rearview mirror.
I run ALG ACT triggers in a couple of my rifles, great trigger for around $100.
Your factory trigger will break in and get better but it will take 1000+ rounds and will probably never be a good as any aftermarket trigger.
Depending what type of shooting you do and how experienced you are I usually don't suggest really light triggers in a rifle like this. Unless you're shooting from a bench most of the time a really light trigger can be a hazzard when moving around with a loaded rifle.
You don't need it to be light (under 4 pounds) to shoot really nice groups, just something that consistently breaks cleanly will serve you better unless you're just shooting at a bench all the time just trying to put rounds close together on a piece of paper.
Also, a trigger will not make your rifle more accurate, it will however hide your poor shooting techniques and poor trigger control. That being said, The WK180 does have a bad factory trigger so I'm in no way trying to discourage you from changing it just don't get carried away and buy a trigger that doesn't suit your type of shooting just because someone on here drank the cool-aid and says only a $400 trigger will do for shooting pop cans in a sandpit.

100% agreed, I'm quite happy with a crisp 6.5# trigger, but my WK produces a gritty 9.5+ after 60 rounds.... It did slightly improve after shooting, no doubt 1000 rnds will smooth it further. Will try paracord and my springs and report back with any successes!
