. Has anybody else here experienced trouble removing their flash hider off of their rifle? I actually managed to get a reaction rod into the barrel extension and I still couldn't get my flash hider off. What in the heck did they put on these things to stop them from coming off? And why on Earth would anybody in the right mind ever use any type of Loctite or Roxette on a flash hider for a firearm? This is just insane to me

I had the same trouble, I tried EVERYTHING I could think of at home and I ended up taking it to a gunsmith to take it off for me. He said it was the second most difficult muzzle device he'd ever removed.

The response I got from Kodiak was:

"I’m sorry that you ran into problems trying to remove your flash suppressor. We lubricate them using AeroShell 64 before application and they are torqued to spec. It is recommended to use a barrel extension vise block, rather than a barrel vise to remove it"

It's quite the endeavour to get those bad boys off.

mine came off easy enough with an armorers wrench and a vice
