WK180 takeoff barrels

For those of you who have taken the barrel off your WK180-C, does anyone know how much it weighs, without the gas system? I know they’re not overly heavy, and I’m thinking of putting one on a budget SLR build if I can find one.

Can anyone here help me out?

And yes I’m aware they have carbine gas, an adjustable gas block will address that.
 
I took the barrel off both my WK180-C rifles and sold them. I did not weight them as I really didn't care about that but I can say they are a pretty light barrel and will weigh somewhere in the same ballpark of most common lightweight/pencil profile barrels. If your objective is a lightweight build the WK barrel will be just fine.

As you say, an adjustable gas block will be a necessity. Not only because of the carbine length gas system. The gas port itself is larger than what the standard gas port size is on an AR barrel because the WK requires more gas.

If you have any questions about the functionality of the barrel on an AR style platform try PMing CGN'er AMET . He bought one of my barrels and has it installed and running.
