WK180c or T97 FTU

But really company's should honestly test their products more thoroughly before releasing them. Like how many prototypes did wolverine produce? How many 1000s of rounds did they put through each one? did they test them through an entire year to watch the effects of different shooting conditions on them? Did they loan a dozen of them out to different shooters to test for a year to see what problems they turn up?

Ooor did they produce a prototype or 2, pump a 1000 rounds through each one over the course of a couple days and call it good for production? Haha i sure hope not, but it wouldnt surprise me with wat some companies offer these days.

I wouldn’t even care if they made them and pump them out… What pisses me off is that they’re not willing to give me the replacement parts for a gun that is showing signs of wear after 200 rounds in a couple of months

Having owned both and kept the wk180 here are is my input.
Wk 180 trigger can be changed without issues normally. Sometimes box style triggers will require minor grinding to fit.
Wk180 can achieve decent accuracy with some hand loads . T97 I never got to group well.
Warranty for any dud rifle- wk stands behind their work and will make it right. T97 has to be warrantied through North Sylva and I am unsure how well this works.
T97 chews brass hard and renders it unusable. Wk does not.
T97 has hard trigger owing to nature of it being a bullpup but the one aftermarket solution (t97.ca lower) would make the rifle cost more than it's worth.i also owned the t97 lower and felt it didnt alter trigger Pull much compared to.my friends without one.

A hard trigger? It has one of the lightest trigger pulls I've ever seen. It's almost TOO sensitive, which makes its "safety" switch dangerous, because some may forget to twist it on. The problem is that the trigger pull is long, but it's by no means hard. It's night and day compared to a Tavor (I own both).

Also, my T97 is also a laser compared to my Tavor.

Not if u train urself to utilize the trigger reset.

So are the readily available 180 parts from North America or China?

Do you really think getting replacement parts for a 97 will be as simple as an email or phone call to Kodiak????

Kodiak is offering continued on shore support and development, is this the same for the 97?

The Gen 2 T97 has almost everything. If they came with a 1/2 28 TPI threaded muzzle, even better. I understand that bullpups aren’t for everyone but i like them.

Either that or a used X95 Tavor would be my choices.

Hey guys, I have been fallowing posts on the t97 and I am wondering what replacement parts would be needed for the platform. I don't have one myself so I would be curious on your feedback.
Thanks in advance.

To my knowledge no one has actually worn anything out yet. If you snapped a firing pin you could take an AK one and (carefully) shorten it down to size and it'll drop in.

I had ~4500 rounds through my T97 when I sold it. Ran it hard with zero maintenance/cleaning other than a couple sprays of oil and never had an issue.

Only reason I got rid of it was to scratch up some funds to go towards parts for my NR receiver set builds. Kinda miss it some days. Well not really but it did serve me well.

I can't comment on what/if replacement parts could be needed as I never needed anything.

I had a type 97 first gen I ran that gun hard. It never missed a beat 750 rounds in a day never wore anything out . Had about 5000 rounds when I sold it never replaced a part. I sold it because a friend wanted it.
I now use a Benelli mr1 as my go too coyote rig not overly pretty but very accurate and will swallow any Ammo
