Sorry if these are beat to Death question, I didn’t search the forum…

Curious what the accuracy and dependability is like with these guns.. I always thought they were pretty ugly but with the choices getting slim I figured i might give one a go. Lol

What should i avoid and what should I look for?

Thanks!!

I grouped at 1.5" which zeroing my red dot today.

Second time shooting it.

Range has max 25m so not exactly something to write home about, wife was about as good with it, first time shooting it.

With a good trigger and glass installed I am able to consistently shoot 1 inch groups at 100m with my handloads. The factory ball does 2".

Many have reported part failure. I have not experienced any. I also just use use for slow bench shooting. I am sure the wear would be different if it was used for 3 gun etc.

Cheers
Moe

So for mine, haven't had any problems yet. The common reported shearing off of the charging handle or the broken piston rod haven't happened to me yet. I did loctite the gas block screws just in case. The charging handle loosens often - I have the first generation non-heat-treated one - the rifle does rattle a bit, but in terms of accuracy it is decent, but accuracy is pretty subjective - my standards are pretty low and I don't compete, but in general I am happy with shooting paper targets. The only real change I made to it is adding the Lantac Dragon muzzle brake - maybe that helped with the accuracy I don't know - I changed the MB first thing before I even shot it. Overall, can't complain - happy with purchase. have shot maybe 1250 rounds through it. Seems to feed everything through it - different ammo with different mags. Some people care about the brass deflect nick parks, but I am used to it but now and for me, it's just cosmetic. I know you can get aftermarket brass deflector and bolt lock/latch for it, but out of the box, it seems to work fine. Cleaning is pretty easy.

I think that Gen-2 has seen some significant changes. I've been waiting on aftermarket choices, but now with Gen-2 updates and after market support, the WK180 pattern of rifles are our only realistic way forward for modern sporting / hunting rifles.
