Not sure what Kodiak is doing differently but I have 2 early serial numbered WK180-C's and the flash hider came off both with no problem.

Why they would start installing them so they're near impossible to remove is beyond me.

FYI, the reaction rod isn't going to help you because it won't fit into the square receiver, I know because I tried. You'll have to clamp the receiver in a vice.

Clamp 2 2X4 together long ways so cross the four inches drilling under size hold to the barrel it will clamp around your Barrel very tightly. Go to your local bowling alley and ask to get some rosin they sell it they may not stock it but they'll sell it. Sprinkle it liberlly on bbl and wood and clmp in a big vise use whatever you want to rip the FH off its junk anyway.

Also if you can't get it off with good old fashioned brute force and/or a bit of heat you can use a hacksaw or a cutting disk on the dremel to cut the flash hider lengthwise along both sides MAKING SURE YOU DON'T CUT DEEP ENOUGH TO HIT THE BARREL'S THREADS and then you can split it off with a chisel, once again making sure that you don't hit the threads with the chisel when it decides to split.

This should ONLY be done as a last resort if all else fails.

I have used this method on many things many times (usually on something I don't want to risk damaging with a cutting torch), and as long as you're careful you won't damage anything.
