Coming soon will be our introduction to the WK308-A, hopefully I will be test firing the pre-production prototype with in the next four weeks. The design is 95% completed, I am very excited, I think she is good, but then I am biased. :) No pre-orders for a long long time, but please feel free to speculate, what would you, the end user like to see? What would be a good target retail price for a no frills, utility, semi auto, non-restricted rifle?

More to follow! :)

I would like to see the pre-order option lol sorry.
Semi auto 308, heck yeah! Whats not to like. As long as it is reliable and accurate enough to take whitetail at 300 yards. I presume it will be optics and bipod ready.
Compatible with some form of pistol mag?
Price point?

Under $1500
Wide variety of calibers available from 22-250, 260rem, 7-08, 308, 338 federal OR the ability to relatively cheaply change barrels... (USE A BARREL NUT!!!)
Pistol mag compatable would be a bonus
Under 8lbs
Use AR forends so it can be dolled up easily or very minimally
Use a common trigger group so folks can upgrade easily...
Offer em naked (muahahaha)... Seriously... Unfinished, a good percentage of folks no doubt wouldent mind custom hydro dipping or DIY Armacoat or Ceracoat... Saves you time, saves us money.

Ever see an original VW Beetle? The people's car... Make us a people's gun... One in every closet.

My big thing is accuracy. Can you make them sub MOA or is that just not reasonable - thus the ‘utility’ descriptor? If it was truly sub MOA I’d definatey pay $3k for one.

I'm guessing that you've created a big brother to the WC180C which uses standard AR10 and AR15 parts in a scaled-up AR180 design!
For the price, keep the same concept as the WC180C (I'm guessing 1500$).

Keep up the great work (and take my money ;) )

Alex

There are already NR sub moa guns for $3K in Canada.
There are not many $1500, simple, lightweight, semi auto NR 7.62x51mm rifles in Canada though.
Sub MOA is over rated unless you are a precision/competition shooter. Hunters don't even care about it. I don't think that is the purpose of this rifle at all.

How about a WK260-A?

Don't get sucked into the accuracy BS. Keep it light and practical. People who want a bench gun can switch out the barrel. Keep her as light as possible without increasing price, keep it around 1500 or less, and I will buy one.

^^This. Please enable the use of a barrel nut.
