Hey guys, I have an opportiniuty to go in on a rec property in the north western area of 1-3 near bamfield. How is the hunting in this area? My main reason for purchasing a rec property would be for hunting and fishing. I appreciate the feedback, thank you.

I don't know for sure, but anywhere on the West Coast of the Island is good for bears.
Fishing should be good too if you're allowed to keep anything.
Heckuva drive across the Island to get there though, but if you're already on Pender you're only a short ferry ride to the main island.
You'd have to hear from locals what the deer hunting is like in the fall.
You'd really have to go have a look at the place and calculate the commute into your recreational plans before committing, but you know that already.
Then you'd know if that is the where you want to invest your money and recreational time.
