My hunting buddies and I are headed down to WMU 400 for spring bear during May long, we will be hiking in and setting up camp. We were there last September looking for elk, but only came across Moose, Mule deer and had a griz follow us for a bit. Anyone have experience with black bear down there? Worst case scenario we do some scouting for elk and get some good hikes in.
