Woah another SKS post.. but a gold bayonet?

I bought a SKS a while back, and It has a gold bayonet.
1950 Tula model

Does anyone know why it's gold? Some answers say it's because of the cosmoline,
but the finish on the bayonet is too perfect and spread out to be a mistake.

Could It be a drill rifle?
Does this add anything to the value of it?

the yellowish ones arent polished like that. curious what this is.

There were a lot of them available with the gold color on the bayonet. I think it was the way they were refurbished from one of the factories.

They looked cooler with the gold I guess, I'd say a refurb option
