Nice. Just sold mine. Its a PITA to remove the recoil spring. PLEASE USE SAFETY GLASSES. My wall has a nice hole in it...

Have you tried the P226 E2?

I have a German P226 classic and I agree it does not fit my hands well. My Sig 1911, with front strap checking is about ideal. I handled a P226 E2 last night and it fit my hands very well. I didn't have enough time with it to be 100% sure, but it's a massive improvement from the P226 classic.

Hmm.. No, I haven't had a chance to try it, but grip profile from a pictures look similar to P220. I will try to find one locally to try. Thanks.
