Since it looks like a minimum of 4 years between antelope hunts, I cant justify building a speed goat specific rifle. I will get more chances at wolves, but think a coyote rifle is a little on the lite side for an 80 lb dog. Might be a good excuse to build one gun for both. Opinions please, looking for something Alberta game legal (.23 cal or larger, as the law is written), light enough to pack through the bush in the winter, but with enough weight to be stable when the time comes to stretch it out on that speed goat of a lifetime. Pick a cartridge to chamber it in too,
