Wolf Calling Works

We would just howl once or twice and then wait 15-20 mins. Did that for an hour and then move on. Once we downed the first wolf i did a couple wolf whines followed by a howl and waited. 15 mins later the second one came out and walked right up to the one we already downed.

Thanks, got a couple other ways, including predator call. Ambition now is to succeed with the howling. :)

Dustin has a Swarovski Z5 3.5x18 with the LRH reticule, Cole is using a Kahles 3x12 with ballistic reticule.
There 257 wtby mags loaded with 100 gr Barnes TSX @ 3500 fps is awesome long range wolf medicine.
Pelt damage was minimal on both Wolves pin hole in and maybe the size of a quarter exit hole.

I haven't been able to go wolf hunting yet due to a shoulder injury, on my right shoulder.
I have a really hard time to hold a rifle.
I haven't shot a wolf in awhile but I seen 3 of them.

Nice. Never heard of the company but just ordered one and some spare bands. I see wolves at work pretty often but never for long enough to get a shot at them. Maybe I'll be able to convince them to hang around for a few seconds.

I didn't know wolves responded to calls.
Dang, I would of purchased a howler before last years
elk trip.
Would love a hide on the wall.
Beauty thing is, I've met up with a local taxidermist new to the area as well.
 
Hope to get out to the cabin again this weekend and try howling Wolves again.
Might be even better with mating season.
