Wolf Double

Tags for a wolf is ridiculous,you are doing a service and should be able to shoot as many as you can get.

What are wolf hides selling for at the fur action these days? With the bounty did you have to send in the ears? If so that would kind of ruin a future rug but I suppose the hide would still be ok to sell.

The bounty was put up by the local trappers association to encourage wolf hunting, hell on big game species around here. The kill had to be registered with F& W and the skull submitted as per regulation. No mutilation required and the skull was returned, nicely cleaned up. This guy and his buds were hanging around a local ranch and partaking of beef.

The drag out must of sucked though. lol I dragged out a good sized coyote this year that I shot at the bottom of a valley. Took many breaks with that one and I even had some help. lol

Skin on site, abandon carcass to the ravens. solves a couple of problems. :redface:
