Hey,

Looking to buy some decent but yet not very expensive hunting boots for the fall. Looking at Wolverine boots, anyone have experience with these boots??

Looking for some feedback

Thanks

Lukas

Seems to be huge range of quality and price point with Wolverine, you'd need to be looking for a review on the exact mdl you want.

decent but yet not very expensive hunting boots

Good boots are good economy, mediocre boots are false economy. If you are on a budget fleabay is your friend. Figure out what high end boots you want, figure out what size you need and then patiently wait for them to show up unused for less then the cost of crap boots locally. I am constantly shopping for boots and can tell you unless your looking for kenetreks you'll find anything you decide you need.
Trick is you gotta know what size you need.
Just as an example I picked up a pair of many many hundreds of dollars scarpa's over the winter Brand New out of the box for 60 bucks delivered, also got a pair of BNIB salomons that MEC sells for over 2 bills for 45 delivered. The list goes on.

There were three things a wife should not buy for her husband . . . guns, scopes and knives. Now there are "Boots". Poor or improperly fitted boots can spell disaster in many ways. Try Danner on the internet. Some of their boots can be had in "B" width and after that up to 4E. "Cheap" does not imply quality, fit nor comfort IMO. Even the best boots not properly broken in can also spell disaster.

I have some Wolverine boots (composite toe) that I really like for work. I'm on hard surfaces all day and they are very comfortable. Not sure what the hunting boots are like.

I have done many reviews on Wolverine boots over the years , and they have performed great. The reviews are on my home site in the traditional review section at www.peteward.com.
