Thanks to John and the gang for a great range event today. My Mrs. and I enjoyed the opportunity to try out some different toys and the museum demos were interesting. Would have loved to see the STG44 out...maybe next year?

Other than Grumpy knocking down the target frame with the UTS it seems to have gone off without a hitch...lol
Definitely worth the drive out.

Had an excellent time today. Love seeing all the smiling faces and crazy grins on the people shooting the 50.

I finally got to shoot a Merkel helix today and that made my year firearms wise.

Very well put together event and good specials, great way to spend 5 or 6 hours. Hardly noticed how dang hot it was.

Now...to win all the draws and I'll be a very happy man. Grumpy get me a deal on that helix. Can you guys tell me what glass was on it? I never even looked.

Great time out at the range with you guys!! Got to shoot some different firearms, as well as watch the museum pieces demonstration. Very interesting, and awesome to watch Lewis machine gun get a work over
All in all, an awesome day with some great people! (The sales weren't bad either, but they hurt my wallet a little bit)

Turns out the Mrs won a rifle! She was quite proud to give Pat her PAL number over the phone today - her first gun.
