Wolverine is in the Senate....

Just a small point I would like to clarify. I am John, with my wife Pat we founded Wolverine Supplies 30 years ago, I am known as Mr Wolverine on CGN. As most of you know I am now retired or semi retired, I received an invite to go before the Senate but I phoned them and asked if Matt could attend as the Wolverine representative, this was accepted. My son Matt and his wife Genn have taken over Wolverine Supplies, Matt is a far better spokesperson for Wolverine and the Canadian Firearms Industry because not only does he know everything that I know about firearms and is running a viable firearms business, Matt also had a 17 year long career in the RCMP. This enables Matt to speak of his first hand experience regarding the effectiveness of our Canadian firearms control relevant to public safety and police activities.

On behalf of Matt and myself we appreciate all the kind comments.

Thank you Mr. Wolverine, enjoy your retirement!....:) Thank you Matt for your service and congratulations on taking over an awesome business.

I hope we all can put an end to the Liberal draconian ideals and put JT out of government period.

That was a really nice, i start watching when to went to bed at 11 pm and watch it all until 3 am!
I was really surprised that gun community was indeed represented with such excellent people, thank you all.
But the biggest surprise for me was how far our senator are from reality, all of them just have their own agenda (on both sides dough) and have no clue what is going on.
Altogether i had a feeling it is just a show.

From someone who lived through the C-68 days - I extend my appreciation to you John and Matt. Please keep up the good fight.

I couldn't help but to watch all 7 or 8 hours of it yesterday, and just want to say a huge Thankyou to Matthew and all of those who represented our community so patiently and intelligently in Senate. Well done!

I watched the whole thing except for the last anti-gun advocate. I just wanted to say that you guys did an excellent job. Thank you.

One thing became clear in watching the proceedings. Various groups and businesses were questioned about their social media activities and comments such as comparing gun control legislation to Nazi confiscation during the war. This seemed to catch the participants off guard and the feeble excuse of " I didn't make that comment" came across as insincere . I would caution Firearm advocacy groups and Firearm businesses to monitor their social comments more closely. We as CGN pendants can say a lot of things under the anonymity or our nom de plume's but official groups must be more cautious.

The other thing that was painful to watch, was how all the anti groups and presenters were allowed to spew whatever false statistics they wanted or their interpretation of facts to suit their cause. While pro firearm presenters used accurate facts and statistics which seemed to be glossed over by most of the Senators. In the end, another futile but necessary exercise.
