You dont think this has been tried? Just like VZ58 Pistol mags, RCMP lab hinted that no such mags would be allowed.

It would be a hard sell...how many AK pistols are registered in Canada? They arent stupid, they know that 99% of them would end up being used in AK magazine pattern rifles.

This was attempted already, didnt work out.
So my post still stands. Wish we could, but they pooped on that possibility a while ago. One of our major retailers attempted it.
 
I told my friend to sell his 3 180Bs for years to cash out... His loss. Game changer for the Canadian market wolverine. You are going to crush sales of ACRs , XCRs and the like. Wicked.

Oh. I probably wasn't paying attention back when that went through. Or didn't go through, as it were. Darn RCMP and their asinine interpretations. Is it or is it not a magazine designed and manufactured for a commonly available handgun; yes or no??

Oh well, I suppose that is beating (off) a dead horse. Back to the topic!
 
I have been waiting for this for years.... And now that it comes I already spent my allowance :(

This may just be one of those "emergency fund expenses"

Out of curiosity, will there be a version at any point with a longer piston/hand guard?
 
i literally bought a T97 last night to have a non restricted .223 semi, then these pop up this morning!
if only i had waited one more day. I am sure i will get one of these, just need to save up again.

I would really like to see a cheaper stripped down version without handguard, pistol grip and stock (and even without buffer tube), since these parts will likely be replaced, but considering it is already pretty cheap at 1000$, it’s hard to complain.

Whoa, I'm hurting for you. 1000$ for a T97 or 1000$ for the 180, even sight unseen I'd go for the 180.
