Wolverine, is it possible to get more detailed photos of the prototype? I know there will be some changes, its just nice for us to have something to drool over :p

I don't think they were wanting to release too many details or drawings as there are others working on designs and they didn't want their design getting out before production.

If this works well, I could see a cult type following, as Canadians do not have much to hold onto as in any sort of identity, products to be proud of, or very many Canadian companies to support.

We really need an AK47 of the north! Not sure this is it? But perhaps it's a start, but it does have great potential, as I believe there is a market waiting to be tapped. As in, if someone can bring to market a good AR styled NR firearm, that can be heavily modified if so desired.
Just think about how excited everyone gets when some old semi auto war relics come to market here, like vz58's, sks's, or any attempt of someone trying to offer a more modern piece, only problem is, they have all been falling flat in their performance/cost/reliability.
Someone needs to come to market with a modern semi, which most young adults can afford, and can be deemed accurate and reliable enough for everyone to have one.

The mini14 did it years ago, but it's now dated in its looks, I believe there is a huge opportunity here.

The public wants: affordable, NR, AR styling, 2 MOA, reliable, upgradable... it can be done.

Now if a dumb farmer like me can figure out the market demand, what can't you people deliver!?
Now make this product deliver!

1. No.
2. No for now, only complete rifles.

Clearly the bolt HEAD of this WK180-C bolt is identical to that of an AR15, otherwise they could not advertise that their rifles are compatible with AR15 barrels.

The rest of the bolt is not identical, it has a horizontal cam pin and no gas rings.

But whether we like it or not the Libs have put firearms law in the RCMP hands. They have stated so openly. So yes RCMP opinion is law now. Or so the Libs have stated. So who to believe at this point. I am not trying to be a sh*t disturber. The government says one thing, you say another. It is getting bloody confusing. I am fairly new to black rifles so never had to deal with this much before but with the Libs and RCMP in lock step I trust neither. Also the Firearms Act is clear as mud. They can twist it any way they want and have given the RCMP the permission to do so. I just don't trust them. I am not looking to get a refund. We just have to be ready should they try anything and expect them to do so. With the new firearms control bill yet to come out I hardly think this and the BCL 102 will escape notice. They won't like it.

Sorry changed my mind I'm not getting involved in this sh@# session

I guess you miread......

I use STANAG XCR Pistol mags with NO problems......Not AK Pistol mags (were do you get AK pistol mags?)

Not sure who carries ak pistol mags. IIRC they are allowed because of the pistol version cmmg mutant? I read up to page 31 and saw no one had mentioned that we would still be able to use ak pistol mags if a ak pattern magwell is used but I would vote for the xcr ones cuz I have a bunch for my vz already

That picture is the 11" with mid length long stroke gas system, the one in the video has a 7" handguard and short stroke gas system, if I am not mistaken.

New pics look great! I think the exposed barrel to hand guard ratio is pretty good. As said in the other thread a ACR stock adapter would make this a big winner (I don't expect that with the initial purchase but hope it is offered as an upgrade). A quick photoshop example shown below..... make it happen :)

1000 bucks for that is awesome. I personally think if people want to get creative with folding ends etc that it could be done. Any machine shop could make an adaptor easily. Id be happy to draw one up once I get mine in hand. I think wolverine has the perfect approach to this. Sell the guns cheap and get lots out in the field. Then offer some aftermarket stuff once they have production humming.

Looking at the pics it would not be hard to do aftermarket stuff with stocks covers etc. 1000 bucks is perfect. Take it out and blast with it. Then throw 500 at it for new stock and trigger or new barrel etc.

Also there is a full rail up top. It would be very easy to make a cover that could mount off of it to cover the opening.

This will be the lego gun of the north. I wish wolverine was a public company. I would be buying stock!
