Hey CGN! First time poster. To those who live by ponoka Ab. Or have hunted around there. Just wondering if anyone has seen wolves out east of there. Friend and i were h7nting and we saw what we thought to be a big ass black wolf. Needless to say we got out of there really quick. Juat wondering if anyone know if there local to the area?

Rancher shot one near Drumheller a couple of years ago, they do range far and wide.

I am not surprized. I seen a wolf on the frozen river just on the north shore of Vegerville last April.

I was bow hunting east of Panocha couple years ago great time saw one deer and a crazy woman on horse screaming on her cell phone with four dogs came by but the second and third trip I could hear something around me there's squirrels there's Blue Jays I thought I seen a fox or a wolf couldn't tell from that distance I would not run from them I would watch them and if there's a pack of four more then I'd be worried

It was about 5 miles away and I was just using the zoom on my phones Camera lol it might have been a coyote, it didn't have a bushy tail like a fox
