I never sell a rifle but it could get a place further back i the gun safe if the Tavor is up there... JP.
One thing about the Tavor,, that's known but not a lot of info is posted about it. I owe someone on this site who posted this. So I'll pass it on. This makes the rifle even better.
For reloading use your shooting hand thumb for the mag release. Think open your hand, and your thumb will hit the release. Then use your weak hand to put in the new mag and use the thumb on your weak hand to hit the bolt release all in one motion. It's very slick.
Also if you have the factory rail option (ie the Picatinny rail that is now offered) then the AR quick release mounts work perfectly with this.
Keep in mind for accuracy that the Tavor is a 1:7 twist and 18.5" when chosing ammo or reloading.
My only regret with my Tavor is that I haven't spent much time shooting it. I've found however that the optics setup for my RFB also works with the Tavor so I can give it a try with higher magnification for ammo testing. I hope to get on this soon.
The MR1 isn't even in the same ballpark as the Tavor. I really wanted a MR1 to go with my Storm. After checking one out live, I passed on buying it. Too many faults with the design. At $1700 its not a bargain either. At $1000 I might have still gone for it.
Here's some poor iphone picture of the Tavor with my RFB setup on it. I have a Falcon 1.5-5x that's been collecting dust on my safe for the past 4 years, so that will go in one of these mounts and on the Tavor. Right now it's a Burris Fullfield II 3-9x that I'll use to find out which ammo it likes.
