I've never handled a select-fire AK, but I bet it takes a very deliberate movement to go from safe to full-auto without going too far. Especially when you are excited in the pitch darkness.

same here..when I play Commando Seal Team 7...I'm mega great with the AK98's..thats a newer version of the 47

AK are crude pesant weapon, AR are the best the modern millitary can offer right now, every single gerieros out there want to get AR, palestinian, guy in iraq everyone is after the AR. The russians themself let go of 7.62X39 in the 70's

Meh they all can put holes in ya. In untrained hands and in poor countrys the ak will always be popular due to it will work wile not being taken care of, and in the most crapy conditions too(also avaliblity, and price). If they all had m16's they would be ruduced to single shots.
