my dad picked up a Rock River HB Varmint AR and had it imported from the States.
he then ordered wood AR furniture from Boyd's and swapped it out.
at first i was like.... what the heck!
but now that ive seen it and shot it i agree with him, its a nice change.
its definitely not something you see very often.

actually i think they are a controlled export item because they are for a AR.

Really need that advantage for those super crazy 5 round mags, all while being super extreme on a Canadian gun range shooting at paper.
Jeez this guy. Not everyone is a tactical commando.
Its for novelty and fun. I doubt anyone is running this on their 3 gun or competition guns.

just had a mental image of my 70yr old dad running a 3 gun with that 30lb AR.
