Wood furniture on JR carbine?

Just curious, has anyone seen or installed wood furniture on their JR carbine? I've seen a few AR's with beauty walnut on them and continued reading states that the JR is able to use AR furniture - so rudimentary thought would lead me to believe that a JR might accept it. Any thoughts?

I would imagine yes it will work but why bother ? It's your rifle do you what you want, I just don't understand why

Ironwood Designs makes some and ships to Canada, but I'd never put it on an AR15. A VZ58 on the other hand, looks and feels great with wood, plus was originally equipped with beech.

I prefer the look and feel of wood to plastic, also, I don't think that JR's weigh enough Anyone ever have experience with Ironwood?
