Wood stock and Arca rail

Has anyone successfully installed an Arca rail on a non traditional shaped stock? I’ve got Cz 457 thumbhole and the shape seems a bit odd to fit an Arca. I know I’d have to drill some holes for tee nuts.
 
Grind a flat on the bottom of the forend so the rail can sit without rocking. Drill a couple or three holes in the forend and bolt the rail on... that's it.

that works too
I did one on a Howa, didn't use the center holes but made two holes side-by-side about 5/8?" apart then thin spacers between the rail and stock to fill the void
