Wooden stocks alberta

I have been hunting in southern Alberta my whole life, and have never owned a hunting rifle with synthetic stock.
I have never had a problem.
It has been said already that it is not the cold, but the humidity.
If your stock is properly sealed, there shouldn't really be an issue.
