Woodleigh Bullets: Tradex

Actually, these action screws are quite often very tight and way too dry (I have no idea what they used on the threads, but the product seems to end up "sticky"), and i've even seen some glued, too (really, glued ; I am not talking of Loctite here).
What I generally use to get rid of these is a good straight and well fitted to the slot screwdriver bit (of good quanlity) set into a ratchet.
When you will put it back together, don't forget to torque it back, especially with the 9.3X62, loose action screws are the main cause of stock "cracks".
While the action will be out of the stock, check it for cracks showing from the lug area and the web wich separates the magazine well and the trigger well.
Then, load shoot and enjoy.

^ Yeah I definitely need a better quality screw driver! I cleaned the action and got as much of the congealed grease out as I could get, without removing the action from the stock. I can see that there is probably some rust on the metal under the stock, so I do have to get it apart.
