Gday guys,
just got in an sat down , been out fly fishing for the Afternoon, very quite tonight..
I had a eventful phone call before I went out it was from a Bloke who lives up Northern Territory way an Owns a small 'Gun shop' up that way, He happens to be Woodleighs biggest Australian distributor an offered Me a good gig to throw in with my YouTube videos so as in turn I can load woodleighs through Him and his Business.

He runs the Woodleigh Facebook page, just really loves the projectiles an being up north has some big Calibres 500s, 404s, 458 Some of the stuff you blokes love too! where I'm coming into it is with the Smaller Cals (sub 31) an in particular the 7mm , doing field reports basically and also on range / dirt and of course!! DEERs!!

So as these reports and Videos can put confidence into the customer who may be asking about particular bullet weights / calibres for Sambar deer or deer in general....

I'm wrapped anyway, He is Not affiliated with Woodleigh company apart from Distibution , however its a good gig, for him and I and I can proberly feed of it with my endevours of Guiding hunters from Around the World for Sambar Deer.!!! whenever that may be!


So looks like I get to play with some .284 , .312 , 9.3 and perhaps .358 projectiles for the remainder of the year!

I get to Offer deals on Bullets thru him, a Free Postage Aus Wide for 4X at $38.50 a Box It makes A Bloody Good Deal for Australian Hunters and Shooters from an Australian Company, being Woodleigh and perhaps Woodleigh will jump on board for This Guys Gun shop!

anyway, just had to share, Sounds like You guys in Canada get cheaper Woodleighs than Us here anyway, but if You want anything Woodleigh , I know your guy - Worldwide- as he already sends items to Sth Afr and US customers!!

The ER Raptor is a CEB and has a ballistic coefficient of 0.337, which is a bit low, and is claimed to be stabilized with the 1:12 standard 375 barrel twist rate.

Their MTH bullets are VLD type. For example, their 340gr 416 caliber MTH bullet has a b.c. of 0.78. Got these loaded up and eager to give them a try. On the roster for the upcoming season. ;)

I really like the Woodleigh bullets. Currently have 6.5mm 160gr PP, 30 cal 240gr PP, 338" 225 & 250gr PP, 338" 300gr RNSP, 375" 350gr RNSP. Have previously shot the 303 215gr and 8mm 250gr, and about to get started on load development for a friend's 375 Ruger, will be loading the 300gr PP

You have quite the Variety there Todd!! that's good schit!
 
I've been looking at Woodleighs for my 270. If I stick with a 150gr to try and emulate the very accurate Partition load I have, I'm definitely switching to Woodleigh. I might go Woodleigh or Swift Scirocco for 130s...

What velocity are you getting with 300gr .338's? You firing them out of a 338 win or 340wby?
 
Not sure if Larch Valley is his company, or if he is still involved with those bullets, but his name was Rick Lepp. Saw him at the gun show a couple of yrs back with a table full of Woodleigh. He also builds/built longbows.
